      How does anti-theft alarm work?

      Carmor unit contains sensitive vibration sensors. Once deployed, if anyone attempts to forcibly remove the unit, cut the strap, or shake the device violently, a piercing 110dB alarm (as loud as a rock concert) will sound immediately.

      Do I need a subscription for GPS?

      The Carmor app is free to download. The GPS tracking feature uses a standard SIM card (optional) to provide real-time location data directly to your phone.

      Will the Automatic cover hit my car?

      No. The deployment mechanism is calibrated to extend outwards before settling down. The soft oxford cloth gently covers the area without heavy metal parts touching your vehicle's paint.

      What will happen if it gets windy?

      Carmor is designed with aerodynamics in mind. It is stable in winds up to 30mph. For safety, the cloth connectors are designed to unsnap automatically in hurricane-force gusts to prevent the umbrella from acting like a sail.

      How long does battery lasts?

      On a full charge, the Carmor battery lasts approximately 45 days with normal use. It recharges easily via USB (car charger or wall outlet).
